Sometimes an examination is required by a solicitor, court or insurance assessor. We give people a very brief visit to see if we can help them. Then we give a second appointment for the examination to be done. The cost varies for different purposes, but we tell the person what that cost is at the first visit: its cost is usually refundable by the requiring agent.
