Examinations
Full new patient
Please read "Introduction for a new patient".

If the patient is content with what she/he has heard and seen up to now, another appointment is offered, up to 30 minutes, for a full examination. This costs £65, payable at that visit, and which gives rise to a full printed statement being posted to the patient about their dental treatment possibilities, with choices as appropriate. From this the patient can chose what he or she wants to have done.

If the patient has not seen/heard what they want, they are free to leave the practice: we will not contact them again.

If the patient has been a regularly-attending patient in another practice, say has just moved to the area and wants to continue that regular attendance has very little need of treatment, then that second appt. will probably become the full examination visit (though it might be an explanation of possible lines of treatment, leading to a third, full examination appointment as the patient wishes).
